I received a message from a friend on Facebook yesterday asking me if a camera had been stolen when my car was broken into last spring. She told me that one of the news stations here locally had two cameras that they were looking for the owners of. Here's the story for you.
Sounds very similar to what happened to me, but it also sounds like this guy's been in jail, or at least was in jail at one point. I know there could be many, many people who fit this job description, but maybe there's a link somehow.
It was refreshing that the sheriff's offce was concerned enough about reuniting the family's to their photos to do something about it.
